The Venue and the day
The Plough is a 17th Century inn and barn in the village of Leigh. This beautiful pub is where we have chosen to have our wedding, and on this page you will find all the details you need to know for getting there on the day.
Transport from Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells
If you are not driving to the venue then the best way to get to the Plough would be to get a taxi. You can find details of recommended taxi firms here. Pre-booking is advised as there is no such thing as Uber out here!
If you do want to take public transport and are staying in Tonbridge then you can take the 402 bus from the centre of town, followed by a 15 minute walk. Total journey time is around 35 minutes, but do check the timetable as they aren’t very regular.
If you are staying in Tunbridge Wells then you can take the same bus (the 402) from the centre of Tunbridge Wells, although this adds
Getting there by Car
The Plough is a ~10 minute drive from the centre of Tonbridge, and ~20 minutes from the centre of Tunbridge Wells. There is ample car parking at the pub, and you are free to leave your car overnight and pick up in the morning.
